Hana Golden - "Solo el Pueblo, Salva al Pueblo" - Bandana

$25.00

From Wildfires to Wildflowers.

Long before it was known as Altadena, the hills and fields of Tovaangar are blanketed every spring in the bright orange and golden hues of "Mekachaa" (California Poppy) which has always been food, medicine, and magic for the indigenous peoples residing there.

A perennial reminder of what it means to be resilient.

Inspired by all those touched by the 2025 Eaton Canyon/Palisades wildfires, and dedicated to all those still in the recovery process of them.

Bandana Designed by Artist: Hana Golden

Artist Statement/Bio: Hana Golden is an LA-based illustrator and sequential artist who seeks to create images as a means of exploring drawing as an alchemical process (and to keep her idle hands busy).

Through her florid botanical illustrations, Hana endeavors to capture the beauty of the LA basin chaparral and the stewards of this land, both old and new!
