Emily Pham "Free from Fear" Bandana

$25.00

Show love for the immigrant community this Valentine’s Day. Wear your heart on your sleeve, or wear this bandana wherever.

From the Artist: "My design is based on the struggle that is currently happening between immigrants and ICE in this country. The figure in the center has one arm holding a flag that says "Free From Fear" to show that immigrants are strong, united, and not afraid.

The other arm is watering plants and flowers to show that immigrants came here to help grow and strengthen their family towards prosperity.

The tree roots laid around the edges and oak leaves scattered throughout the design represent building new roots on new land. The three droplets represent blood, sweat, and tears from hard work. The flames represent resilience and passion. The broken chains represent strength.

The monarch butterflies represent transformation and rebirth. They are also a symbol of endurance and perseverance due to the long migration that they endure."

22" x 22" premium cotton bandana. Pink color fabric with 3 ink colors. All proceeds go to NDLON's campaign and programmatic work. Bandanas are hand-cut & hand-printed so each bandana has its own natural variation in shape and size.
