We'll fight for our city even when it breaks our hearts.
And lately it's been a lucha for the ages.
We didn't start this fight, but we're in it. In it to win it.

Players and owners come and go.
Championships come and go.
But LA stays. Why do we love it? Because LA is our city.
A city is just people, and the people are just us. Our families and
neighbors, lovers and friends, children and cousins, aunties and
uncles, moms and dads.

Our love for our home team is deeper than politics and press events.
Yes, the team that kicked ass in Dodger Stadium should not be kissing
ass in the Oval Office.

But never mind what goes on in DC. Our love is local. IN OUR TOWN, we
wear our pride on our sleeves. Our faithfulness on our chests. Our
love in our hearts.
